Attorney General Holder Reveals Aggressive Gun Control In Response to Ft.

Brought to my attention by Mark Vanderberg of The Gun Rights Advocates Podcast.
Attorney General Holder Reveals Aggressive Gun Control In Response to Ft. [Hood Shooting]

It starts. Who was it that said "Never waste a crisis..."

Does anyone else see the contradictions here?
Attorney General Eric Holder defended his decision to give foreign national terrorists the same protections afforded to American citizens by giving them a civilian jury trial. Yet, he wishes to limit the rights of law-abiding citizens and even prohibit as many as 400,000 people from owning firearms based because they happen to be on a secret government watch list.

His two preliminary suggestions (and I say preliminary because anyone that thinks he will stop at these two is a fool) include:

  • Holder wants a national, permanent gun registration system administered by law enforcement. A registration of honest citizens that have cleared the federal background check for gun purchases with those records permanently retained by and shared among law enforcement.
  • Holder wants new federal authority to prohibit any person on the federal watch list (reported to be 400,000 names) from buying guns and supports confiscating guns from those on the list who possess them.
Now more than ever we need to be praying for our nation.

The Obvious Repurcussions (of Gov't Bailout $$)

This from US News.
...the town of Edwardsville, Ala., with a population of 194 people, might raise a few eyebrows with its bid to receive $375 million from the economic stimulus package being assembled by Barack Obama and lawmakers in Congress. . .

That comes out to nearly $2 million per Edwardsville resident....
Heck, give me $2,000,000 and I promise I'll help stimulate the economy. :)

Obama shows true colors of government waste

A story from the Boston Globe recently arose about the size of Obama's paid campaign staff.
Reports filed with the Federal Election Commission show that in May the campaign had a payroll of about 900, not counting nearly 500 part-time workers who were paid stipends. As of May 31, the Obama campaign staff was well over twice the size of the Bush reelection campaign staff in 2004 and nearly three times the size of McCain's current staff, and has expanded significantly since.

Through the end of May, the Obama campaign had spent $35.7 million on salaries and benefits, triple the $11.9 million spent by the McCain campaign, according to tabulations by the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan research group.
(Obama's Paid Staff Largest in Nation's History for Campaign)

I think this little gem, from the Boston Globe of all places, shows Obama's true colors for fiscal irresponsibility and large bureaucratic government waste. When we're told that he spends $35.7 million dollars for the salaries and benefits for his campaign staff alone (that doesn't include money for advertising and promotion) we have to wonder if this man can be trusted with the pen that vetoes or approves government expenditures and to responsibly set the fiscal tone for the nation and 300 million American lives for the next 4 years.

The left is always eager to cry wolf and say that a candidate's trying to buy the Presidency when people on the right are accused of dumping millions of campaign monies into an election, where's the balance and the outcry that Obama's trying to buy the presidency?

Nowhere! Because as usual the standard that they measure by is not the standard they expect to be measured by.

Obama wants change all right... every bit of change you have.

Operation Chaos: Key to Hilary win in PA

A friend of mine brought this to light.

What I DID find on the PA Department of State was a link to download a spreadsheet including many different tables, including a spreadsheet with voters who switched to Dem or Rep, by county and by week!

With a little Excels-manship, the answer is:

Candidate Votes Percent
CLINTON, HILLARY (DEM) 1,238,232 54.6%
OBAMA, BARACK (DEM) 1,030,703 45.4%

207,529 difference.

According to the PA Department of State, 164026 Republican voters re-registered as Democratic, and
14887 Democratic voters re-registered as Republican!
PA Voter Registration Statistics website.

Operation Chaos is going splendidly. Remember folks, for this next primary, you're going in in deep cover. Play the part, pretend like you're the typical Democratic voter, this next one is HUSH-HUSH.

I did my part, now you do yours.

With any luck the in-fighting in the party will destroy the Democratic party for the next five decades!

Keep fighting the good fight!

Will the Real Obama please stand up?

I hope everyone did their part and voted yesterday (if you are a registered voter in PA). I did my part and voted for Hilary Clinton, and amazingly enough I only feel slightly dirty for doing such.

But I digress, I want to talk about the real Obama. Take 13 of your minutes and watch this short documentary on Obama, and while you're at it listen to Ken Blanchard of The Urban Shooter Podcast's broadcast on Obama and guns.
